“In nature, nothing exists alone.” -Rachel Carson
I am a parasite ecologist studying the impact of human influence on parasite and host  communities.  My research interest are born out of a love of all things aquatic and marine & a deep curiosity about the intersections of ecology, zoology, molecular biology, and parasitology.  I link ecological theory, experimental approaches, and observational studies together to draw robust and meaningful conclusions.
