I am enthusiastic and passionate about my roles as an educator, both in formal classroom situations and as a mentor. A full teaching statement, which details my responsibilities, educational philosophy, and teaching innovation, is available. I utilize non-traditional approaches and technology to improve student retention and engagement in the field, in the lab, and in the classroom. I was awarded the 2017 Trinity College Dublin Provost's Postgraduate Teaching Award, as well as the inaugural William C. Campbell Award for Teaching Inspiration.
